1. Rent

Loved it! Looooooved it!! Mainly because I didnt expect anything outstanding, but it sure was!!
The songs are catchy, the story was moving, the actors were superb!! All in all a great experience.
And what a cryfest!! No im sorry, tearjerker is the correct term.

2. Juno

Again, loved it!! It rightly deserved to win the Oscar for best picture, but it won for best original screenplay. And original it was!! I listen to the soundtrack still. Lovely indie selections. From the title song to the last one, sublime!! Praise be to dark comedy.

3. No country for old men.

Seriously. The Oscar always goes to the weirdest movie of the year. It was...i couldn't find the word before, and I still can't. But the villan was very entertaining. Kudos to Javier Bardem, you deserve your Oscar! Very ingenious weapon too.

4. Jumper.

No. Big no. You got a good concept there Hollywood, but you messed up the delivery.
The audience has seen this before. Or at least is not satisfied with your version. The ending was complete b-s. Sorry, don't waste your time or money. Hayden, you didn't make me want you.

How could I forget that monster of a movie?

Absolutely outstanding. Impeccable work again Mr. Burton.
I must say as a child I did fancy The Nightmare Before X-mas.
Growing up Burton. Even the songs are much better than the original.
Encore!! (not to mention the songs are stuck in my head all day;
like singing "My Friends" to my knives as I'm about to de-bone a fish :p)
