Alegria in Dubai

I'm not a big fan of Cirque du Soleil, but when the circus comes to town...you gotta check it out!
I have previously attended the La Nouba show @ Walt Disney World. I thought it lackluster...or maybe my mood was, who knows.

Alegria was spectacular! The blue and yellow tent looked small on the exterior, but oh the wonders that it held inside!! Every act out did the pervious one! The music wasn't so inspiring but it flowed with the performance.

Highlights: The flexible blue haired lady...OH..My GAWD!! I felt like a stone compared to her!
Watching her flip around herself, front back-back front...I had an overwhelming sense of pride just being of the same species as she is! "GO humans! GO humans!"

The clowns in the middle of each act: those were some real funny clowns!!

The hula hoop lady... incredible!!

Sexy white haired jumping beam guy: Come to mama!!

The 9 (shirtless, abs galore) trapeze guys: Speechless :D

LOL

This picture brought on the lol's. Hahahaha! It's the star struck girl in the background! See.
I love honest moments caught on camera. This is one star struck girl! "Katie Holmes! OMG!"
But seriously..Katie is lookin' weird. I'm not a fan or anything but many people in the media are concerned that she might be brainwashed. Not that it's anyone else's business, but something fishy is going on. Evidence: Check out anyone of her pictures pre-Tom Cruise. The lesson is ladies, don't change who you are for some guy! It's not worth it. Personally I don't think she digs her boyish cut at all..tsk tsk Katie. I can't remember the last time you smiled. But at least you still got fans.

Moon Bathing

I had a very inspired thought as I gazed up at the moon tonight. Why not moon bathe?
Heck if we slather on the sunscreen (carrot oil for some) and sit out in the heat to bake for the sake of a tan (or Vitamin D for some :p), why not soak up some moon rays? The moon probably feels lonely you know. What with all the attention the sun is getting; apart from the fact that we are awake during the time it shines, there are sunglasses, sunscreens, and solar everything!

But when the moon comes out, we ignore it and go to bed. I think it's sad. Revolving around us while we revolve around the sun. Shouldn't we pay enough attention to it too? I mean besides, "oh look, a full moon!" once every month and "did you see the eclipse?!" once every so often. Do we really want it to be blue? We know blue moons never happen.

So get in touch with your inner werewolf. Bathe yourself in the moon's rays tonight, or whenever the next full one comes around. The rays you will absorb have a truly therapeutic quality. And get some moonstones while your at it. I recently discovered that you can "recharge" their energies by letting them absorb moon rays. The best full moon I ever experienced was the Capricorn Moon in Cancer on July 18th. There were no words to describe it. But I soaked up every last energy it could give me that night. One of the truly least appreciated gifts, my darling, la lune. <3
